The IWC is a powerful tool for students who intend to engage in any form of paid or volunteer employment whilst studying at university.  The IWC recognises and captures the skills and experiences obtained through employment by:

  • Identifying, validating and recording the skills, experiences and work hours in the IWC Log Book
  • The IWC Work Book Companion forms part of the self-paced learning program in which students demonstrate their connection between work, employability skills and their mastery of them.
  • The Work-Readiness-Test (WRT) is the final item students undertake to demonstrate their graduate-level mastery of employability-skills and work-readiness.
  • Upon completion of the IWC program the students work experience is recognised through the certification and awarding of the IWC Certificate.
